Very tasty and enjoyable family run restaurant with nice cooks very friendly and nice atmosphere. Has a local Italian restaurant vibe and also has large portions which still maintain their taste!
We had a party of 10, we arrived late because trains were stopped because of an earthquake. They stayed open for us and the food was amazing. We had seafood risotto, which was delicious, grilled calamari, muscles, and 2 people ordered steak and veal. The swordfish 5 people ordered said it's the best they have ever had. This is a GREAT find and we'll worth visiting. This mother/daughter team knows how to do it!!

Wonderful family run restaurant. It’s not often you see a room run so smoothly and effortlessly by a single person; the mum. Daughter in the kitchen also has a lovely way. Lighting is awful ( too bright, too high and too cool a color temperature) as per most Italian restaurants.

Great place - an older couple, a waitress and one guy in the kitchen. Totally comfort food - and great value . Classic place - can’t think of any negatives ! On a second visit - same- family atmosphere. There was an (Italian) other family celebrating a birthday. It’s that sort of place.
Incredible home cooked Italian food. Bolognese is by far the best under the sun. I have been coming here for four years every summer and I'll keep coming back.
Cozy family restaurant with good reasonable prices and very nice owner. I can’t say the dish was very tasty, but I enjoyed the atmosphere :)

Family-run, it offers strictly Ligurian cuisine and a daily menu based on what the Tigullio fishing boats have to offer, if the night has been generous with their nets. A lifesaver for those with a sweet tooth who can find authenticity, even if they have to venture a little further. Octopus and potatoes, a rare delicacy, Ligurian-style fish to die for, and Trevigne delle Colline del Genovesato white wine to quench your thirst. Prices are in line with what's on your plate.

Siamo capitati qui per caso di domenica a pranzo. Ottima scoperta! Cucina ligure con ingredienti ottimi! Ambiente e personale alla mano. We stumbled upon this place by chance on a Sunday for lunch. A great find! Ligurian cuisine with excellent ingredients! The atmosphere and friendly staff were great. I had tagliolini with red mullet sauce, which I personally thought was excellent! The dessert was also delicious!!! Chocolate cake with chopped pistachios! Well done We'll definitely be back! 🎉

Non di molte parole, ma in realtà è efficiente e sa consigliare pur nella sua asciuttezza nel porsi.. Al nostro secondo giorno nel locale era decisamente più affabile... La figlia è sorridente e gentilissima. Insomma se volete assaggiare una cucina ligure ben fatta e senza fronzoli l'Ancora è un ottimo indirizzo. I miei complimenti alla gestione.Traduzione
Real, authentic trattoria.. The cuisine is just as much.. simplicity first of all but simple and good is not always easy.. Instead here the combination is the order of the day.. I point out mussels marinara, warm seafood salad and tagliolini with pesto really excellent.. The lady in the dining room, typically Ligurian.. (we liked her immediately!) is a character.. Not a woman of many words, but in reality she is efficient and knows how to advise despite her dryness in her approach.. On our second day in the restaurant she was definitely more affable... The daughter is smiling and very kind. In short, if you want to taste well-made Ligurian cuisine without frills, the Ancora is an excellent address. My compliments to the management.
